Corbin Coombs, a junior at Organ Mountain High in New Mexico, won the boys elite 3,200 meters in a lifetime-best 9:01.95 at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field in Chandler, Ariz. Coombs ascended to the No. 5 competitor in meet history, including the top male athlete from New Mexico.
